Michael and Tiffany have known each other ever since they were in diapers. They were always the best of friends. They always stuck up for each other and consoled one another. When they both turned seventeen, they fell in love with each other. Everyone knew that this was destined to happen.

Michael and Tiffany had just graduated from college. They were both going to be professional and have their own restaurant. This was their lifelong dream and they loved each other. They were going to be very happy.

Michael dear, how are you?” Michaels mother greeted him.

Hi mom, it's good to be home.” Michael replied.

Where’s Tiffany? You said she was coming over.” His mother said.

She went home to go see her parents. He replied.

Well, that will give us some time to talk about something important. Tom would you come here? She said.

Michael my boy, how are you? Michael's father said.

I'm great dad, it's nice to see you. Said Michael.

Michael, how are things with you and Tiffany? his mom asked

Things are great, I love her so much! Michael said.

Well, we've been wondering, when are you going to ask her to marry you? She asked.

Yeah boy, when are you? You have been seeing her now for six years. Better do it now before you lose he.” Michael’s father said.

I know I’m just freaked out that if she says no everything will change. I’ve thought about this a lot and I can’t make up my mind.” Michael replied.

You better start making up tour mind before you lose her.” Said Michael’s father.

I got to go. I have to go meet Tiffany.” Michael said

Michael left and got in his car. He was so confused. He wanted to marry Tiffany but he was afraid to be rejected. He decided to call his friend Matt.

Yo, Matt what’s up?” said Michael.

I don’t know you called me.” Replied Matt.

Listen, I’m all caught up in that whole marriage thing again. I love her, but you know I’m so confused. My parents are on my back about it now and it’s just like…man, that felt good.” Said Michael.

Well you love her right?” said Matt.

Of course I love her!” replied Michael.

Then you know what to do. She loves you and you love her. I’ve seen it. You guys are meant for each other.” Said Matt.

I guess your right. I got to go see Tiffany. I’ll call you later.” Said Michael.

Later.” Replied Matt

That talk with Matt really loosened him up. He went to Tiffany’s house. All the time he was driving he kept thinking about her. He arrived at Tiffany’s house.

Hi Michael.” Said Tiffany.

Hey Tiffany.” Said Michael.

My mom’s over right now. She’ll be happy to see you.” Said Tiffany.

Hello Michael.” Said Tiffany’s mother, “How have you been?”

I've been fine Mrs. Blake. I’m just glad that school is finally over.” Replied Michael.

Michael, I have a big surprise for you. Over the last month I have been planning a graduation trip to New York. We have first class tickets, a hotel suite, the works!” Tiffany said.

Cool when do we leave?” Michael asked.

Tomorrow, so go home and pack.” Tiffany said.

Alright, Love you and see you later.” Michael said.

Michael left and Tiffany decided to call her friend Ashley. Ashley was one of her best friends…aside from Michael. They had been friends for about six years.

Hello?” said Ashley.

Hey it’s me Tiffany.” She replied.

How are you? Did Michael pop the question?” asked Ashley.

No not yet. I hope this trip will encourage him to.” Tiffany said.

I think it will. Besides he loves you and you love him.” Ashley said.

I guess your right. I got to go pack. Talk to you later.” Tiffany said.

OK bye. Replied Ashley.

Meanwhile, Michael called his best friend Matt.

Hello? Matt said.

I think I have the perfect opportunity to pop the question.” Michael said.

Michael? Where and when?” Asked Matt.

When we go on this trip to New York. I’ll ask her over a romantic dinner.” Said Michael.

Cool that is perfect, just don’t choke.” Matt said jokingly.

I won’t. I’ll talk to you later.” Said Michael

See ya later.” Replied Matt.

Michael was so pumped for the trip he went home and packed. Then he went ring shopping. It took him three hours to find the right ring, but then he found it. It was a three-diamond sapphire platinum ring that cost a pretty penny.

Michael decided to go home and tell his parents. They were so happy for him. His mom was ecstatic. She was happy that Michael finally decided to marry her. Michael bid his family adieu and left.

The next day Michael and Tiffany met at the airport.

Ready for the trip?” Asked Tiffany.

Yep all packed and ready can’t wait.” Replied Michael.

Michael and Tiffany then boarded the plane. They got in their first class seats and felt like they were treated like royalty. They talked about how they loved each other and what they were going to do when they get to New York.

It was a five-hour flight and they were exhausted. They got off the plane and checked into the Plaza. They had gotten the presidential suite. It was so luxurious. Then they got all dressed up for dinner.

Michael was so nervous. He kept looking at the ring and repeatedly said,”(I hope she says yes, I hope she says yes.)”. Michael then put the ring in his pocket and went off to dinner with Tiffany.

Michael saw Tiffany. She looked so beautiful! For some reason this made Michael even more nervous for some reason. They sat at their table and talked about and talked about food, movies, music, and the usual stuff. Michael waited till dessert came.

Tiffany? Said Michael

Yes? Replied Tiffany.

I love you so much and I want to be with you for the rest of my life.” Michael said.

Michael stood up from his chair, walked over to Tiffany, and got on one knee.

Will you marry me?” Michael asked

Of course I will!” replied Tiffany.

They hugged and Tiffany cried. It was a Hallmark moment. The restaurant applauded for them and they were so happy!

A month later they had the wedding. The ceremony was beautiful. It was the happiest day of their lives. At the reception they all danced and celebrated.

In the lime Tiffany told Michael she was pregnant. Michael was shocked and happy. He was going to have a baby.
