Here is my Story:

Thanks to the doctor 5 years ago who let me watch my cervical biopsy on a television monitor. That experience set a standard for me, of how I need to be an active participant in my own care. This doctor explained everything, and was engaged with me as a person.
I'll never again settle for a doctor who, when I ask a question, says "It's too complicated - you wouldn't understand."
